This was a very makeup-heavy production where I created a pale, sickly makeup for cast, as well as making custom diseased bump prosthetics for the surgeon. Marianna also wanted to shoot a sequence where the main boy gets injected into his neck, and she wanted to shoot an ECU of the needle going into the skin and the liquid getting injected in (for real), so I took a life cast of the actor’s neck and shoulders and created a silicone bust for the needle to be injected into.
