I transformed Jamie Demetriou into 11 characters ranging from fetus to 100 years old, and also created multiple transformations for Ellie White and Sian Clifford. The work included styling, cutting and applying 4 toupees, 7 wigs, 2 sets of extensions, and hand-painting a hairstyle, with Jamie’s natural hair seen only twice. The looks spanned decades, cultures and personalities, using unconventional techniques such as a deliberately visible toupee over a wig, a rat’s tail braid, and a balding style achieved through cutting, plucking and hand-laid hair. For makeup, I designed six age transformations for Jamie—both aging him up (20, 30 and 70 years) and down (15, 25 and 35 years)—using multi-piece prosthetics, facial hair and even full-body slime for the womb scenes. Every look demanded creativity, precision, speed and seamless teamwork
